Samsung Glyde SCHJ-U940Samsung’s latest phone is the Glyde and sports the touchscreen/slider combination that we’ve seen in a few different phones now. Samsung states:

Some people are talkers. Some are texters. Some are all touchy-feely. Well, the SAMSUNG Glyde™ is the stylish phone for all three. It has a full QWERTY keyboard that slides out when you need it. And a beautiful 2.8” touch screen display to show off your emails, your favorite web pages or your photo album. In fact, you’ll like your Glyde™ so much, you won’t be able to keep your hands off it.

Interactive touch screen

When you touch the Glyde’s touch screen, things happen. For one, virtual buttons will be pushed. For another, you’ll feel a small amount of tactile feedback – to confirm those virtual buttons have been pushed. And thanks to the slide-out keyboard design, you get to enjoy this large, beautiful display whether you’re calling, browsing the Web or texting.

2.0 megapixel camera and camcorder

The camera on the Glyde™ is the picture of quality and convenience. With a full 2.0 megapixels – and real-camera features like flash, digital zoom and auto focus – you may never carry a separate digital camera again. Oh, and you can leave your camcorder at home, too.

Alright, so this phone may be a lot like others that we’ve seen, but there’s a lot to be said for the QWERTY keyboard and that touchscreen. It’s seems that once you experience the convenience of these features firsthand, there’s no going back.  Find more information on the Glyde here.   Find Samsung SCH-U940 Accessories here.  Get the How to Guide and other support materials here.
