The Motorola Droid 4 is definitely a step up from the Motorola Droid 3 and is more in line with the other Motorola phones available on the Verizon network. The Motorola Droid 4 is capable of 4G LTE speeds and is powerful enough to handle anything you need to do without any lag. The Droid 4 is large, measuring 5 by 2.65 by 0.5 inches and weighs 6.31 ounces, almost half a pound. The body is familiar, with a black body, rounded corners and beveled edges. The screen is 4 inches with 540×960 pixel resolution, supports 16 million colors and is crisp and clean. The display is scratch resistant and the body of the phone is covered in a water-resistant coating, making the whole phone more durable. Under the display is a 5-row full QWERTY keyboard. The 1785mAh battery in the Droid 4 is not removable, apparently a new trend for phone manufacturers. The battery lasts 12.5 hours of talk time and 8.5 days of standby time. The Droid 4 runs on Android Gingerbread and has a Motorola user interface, giving you 5 home screens and a variety of organization options.
