Kyocera’a new Neo phone is an extremely thin flip phone with a cool blue “lightpipe” running down its face. There’s also a hidden display right by the lightpipe, but it’s very small. Some may consider that a nice feature, but for those with sight problems, they may really struggle to read the phone numbers that appear on it. Kyocera lists a few of the Neo’s top features-

Top Features:
- Memorable illuminated design with “breathing” lightpipe
- Glowing 2.2″ QVGA display
- “Hidden” external OLED display
- Bluetooth 2.0
- Speaker-independent voice recognition
- 1.3 MP camera with dedicated side key
The Neo undoubtedly has a sleek look and design, but there are some drawbacks such as the hidden display mentioned above. Also, it appears that it will only offer sound in mono while a lot of phones are coming with stereo. Again, it’s a matter of preference, but we would prefer the stereo sound and a larger display on the face.
