T-Mobile Garminfone

In recent smartphone news, T-Mobile USA announced the soon-to-be-released Garminfone. The Garminfone will be Garmin’s first Android-powered smartphone. Garmin will now join the likes of HTC and Motorola as smartphone makers whose phones are supplied by T-Mobile.

George Harrison, the vice president of marketing product innovation for T-Mobile, told Fierce Wireless, “The Garminfone brings together two increasingly popular devices in one state-of-the-art package, delivering a rich, unique experience that no other smartphone or standalone navigation device can offer.”

One of the best features of the Garminfone is that it comes fully integrated with Garmin’s navigation maps. Users simply point and click to bring up Garmin’s navigation system for any addresses located in emails, texts, contact entries, and websites.

If you’re searching for a smartphone that provides top-of-the-line navigation features, the Garminfone should definitely be your top choice. However, it should be noted that other smartphones—including the iPhone, BlackBerry, and Google Android—also provide quality navigation systems. Moreover, those phones shine when it comes to other important features, such as internet browsing social networking.
