Unlike other Blackberry Curve models, the Curve 8520 is expected to have an optical trackball versus the traditional one.  Other than that it will be a slim, candy bar style phone with the full qwerty keyboard.  While the 8520 is a lower end phone in the Blackberry lineup, it is expected to have a number of key features such as bluetooth, mp3 playback, and all other basic Blackberry functions.

Initial speculation is the 8520 will be a GSM based model available on the AT&T network.

The keyboard seems to be a love it or hate feature.  In reviews some like the feedback the keyboard provides, others really dislike it.  The screen itself is good quality and the phone is tough like most blackberry’s.  Most early adopters rate it above the iPhone for business functions such as email and documents.
