Apple iPhone 3G Dropping Calls

There have been a number of reports the Apple iPhone 3G is dropping phone calls when moving from a 3G network to a non 3G network.
If you are in the market for the iPhone 3G and live in an area where you will have to to jump between networks, you may want to hold off until Apple can solve the issue.
Supposedly it relates to the chip in the phone and they are trying to fix it with a software update.
